Ignazio Pillitteri – INAF OAPA

Ignazio Francesco Pillitteri is a staff scientist at the INAF-Osservatorio Astronomico di Palermo (INAF-OAPA, Italy) since 2017. He obtained the PhD in Physics at the University of Palermo (UniPa) in 2005, then he had postdoc and fellowships appointments in Palermo at INAF-OAPA and at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics of Cambridge (MA) in USA (Smithsonian Institute fellowship and Marie Curie Fellowship in 2012-2014). His research is focused on the study of the high energy activity (X-rays and UV) of stars with planets, young stars in star forming regions and in open clusters.
