Gloria Guilluy is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the observatory of Turin. She graduated in Astrophysics at the University of Turin and she will discuss her PhD thesis this spring.
Her research focuses on the characterisation of exoplanetary atmospheres in the near-infrared, and her studies can be outlined in two branches. On the one hand, she probes exo-atmospheres (through both molecular and atomic detections) at high spectral resolution by using the 3-4m class telescope facility (GIANO@TNG). On the other hand, she analyses low-resolution data gathered by the HST/WFC3.
